Do you offer direct billing?

Yes. Most Insurance companies we work with cover Acupuncture and Massage Therapy services. The amount covered depends on your own personal coverage.

Please note: Direct billing may not be available to all patients as each insurance company carries it’s own policies on direct billing.

What can Acupuncture be used for?

What does Acupuncture feel like?

Acupuncture is done using hair thin needles. Most people report feeling minimal or no pain as the needle is inserted. With certain points you may feel a little tingling sensation or a dull ache, however this feeling usually settles within seconds.

How do I prepare for my Acupuncture appointment?

  • Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing. You’ll either be removing your clothes or rolling them up.

  • Eat a meal prior to treatment, but not right before your appointment starts.

  • Prepare any questions you may have for us.

  • Avoid caffeine, tobacco & alcohol prior to your appointment.

  • Fill out your intake form as detailed as possible.

  • Leave a few minutes early to make sure you arrive on time for your appointment and aren’t feeling rushed, leading you to feel flustered.

  • Have a plan for the rest of your day. Acupuncture may leave you feeling fatigued or slightly light headed. Plan to rest after your appointment if possible.

  • Bring a list of medications, supplements, or vitamins you’re taking including the dosages.

  • Hydrate.

  • Remove bracelets/watches.

  • Give your Acupuncturist feedback, let them know how you’re feeling throughout your appointment and ask more questions if needed.
